Just tell your admitting nurse you would like a
pediatrician from Sandhills Pediatrics to see your new
baby. Congratulations!
Yes
Sandhills Pediatrics has made improving asthma care a major focus of our practice. The philosophy is simple: we teach children and
their parents about asthma so they become partners with their doctors
and gain control over this disease. We follow the current National Institute of Health guidelines. We expect all children to become almost symptom-free and to be able to participate in all childhood activities including sports. For more information please take a look at our Asthma Care Page.
We recommend several books by the American Academy of Pediatrics. These are available through the AAP website bookstore. Click on Parenting Books to see the titles. Also see our list of Resources.
